Occupations of Desire Trish and Roger After Hours
Trish is tired of quiet nights at home, and Roger wants to feel bold again. Just another day at the office turns into a heated, consensual escape.
Monday began like every other at Harlow and Pierce. Elena, a sharp architect in her thirties, arrived with her coffee and a stack of blueprints, ready for another long day of revisions. Across the open floor, Marcus, the senior project manager, was already at his desk with his sleeves rolled up. For months they had traded polite nods and careful emails, but lately those glances had lingered a beat too long.
By late afternoon the office had emptied, and only the hum of the printers remained. Marcus knocked on her glass door with two fresh coffees and the excuse of reviewing the downtown tower plans. They leaned over the drafting table together, shoulders brushing, and neither moved away. When Elena finally looked up, his eyes were not on the drawings at all. She set down her pencil and asked him, very quietly, if he had been thinking the same thing she had.
His answer was a slow, deliberate kiss, the kind that had clearly been waiting for weeks. She pulled him closer by his tie, laughing softly at how unprofessional it all was, and how little she cared. He lifted her onto the edge of the table, blueprints sliding to the floor, his hands tracing the line of her waist beneath her silk blouse. Every button he opened felt like a secret they were finally sharing, and she guided him with confident, eager touches that made him catch his breath.
The city lights flickered on beyond the windows as they lost themselves in each other, unhurried and completely absorbed. There were whispered names, a few breathless jokes about the quarterly review, and long moments of nothing but warmth and rhythm. When it was over, they stayed tangled together on the leather couch in her office, her head resting on his chest while the skyline glowed around them.
Eventually Elena gathered the scattered plans and smoothed her hair with a satisfied smile. Marcus helped her stack the pages, then paused at the door and asked whether tomorrow might also run late. She raised an eyebrow and told him the tower revisions would certainly need more attention. Just another day at the office, she thought, switching off the lamp, except nothing about it would ever feel ordinary again.
