Outdoor Serenade as Alissa Draws Out His Hallelujah

An outdoor guitar serenade turns into open air passion when Brad meets Alissa again, red hair and black leather, ready to live the fantasy in his song.

The afternoon sun had softened into gold by the time Mara and Elias reached the clearing above the lake. They had hiked for hours, sharing water and easy laughter, and now the world felt hushed and private. Wildflowers bent in the breeze, and somewhere below a loon called across the still water. Mara spread the blanket over the warm grass and looked up at him with a slow smile that said the walk had only been the beginning.

Elias knelt beside her, brushing a strand of dark hair from her cheek. For a moment they simply breathed together, two adults who had waited all week for this stolen hour outdoors. Then she pulled him down, and the kiss was unhurried and deep, tasting of summer and salt. Her fingers traced the line of his jaw, his shoulders, the buttons of his shirt, undoing each one as if she were reading a letter she already knew by heart.

The open sky made everything feel larger. Clothing slipped away and was forgotten in the grass. He kissed the curve of her neck, the hollow of her collarbone, and she arched toward him with a sigh that drifted out over the trees. When she guided him closer, their rhythm found itself the way waves find the shore, steady and certain. From his lips she drew a quiet hallelujah, a word that was half prayer and half laughter, and she answered it with one of her own.

Time loosened its grip. The breeze cooled their skin while the sun warmed it again, and every sound of the forest seemed to lean in and listen. Mara held him tightly as the moment crested, her eyes open to the endless blue above, his name spilling softly from her mouth. They stayed tangled together long after, hearts slowing, fingers laced.

When dusk finally painted the lake in violet, they dressed slowly and walked back down the trail hand in hand. Neither said much. They didn't need to. The clearing would be waiting whenever they wanted to return, and both of them already knew they would.
